
Bio – Kurtis, Owner & Operator of KG Firearm Solutions
Kurtis is a highly decorated combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps with over a decade of experience in firearms instruction, safety, and security operations. As the Owner and Operator of KG Firearm Solutions, he brings unmatched expertise, discipline, and a steadfast commitment to training and service.
His qualifications include multiple NRA certifications, such as Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA CCW Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and Certified Shotgun Instructor. He is also a certified firearms instructor in both Utah and Maryland, holding pistol permits across multiple states.
Beyond his military service, Kurtis has spent more than 10 years in the safety and security sector, including time as a Corrections Officer, further strengthening his foundation in risk management and operational readiness. Currently, he serves in the Human Resources Department at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, continuing his dedication to supporting fellow veterans.
Outside of his professional life, Kurtis is a devoted father of three and an experienced motorcycle rider, embodying both resilience and balance in his personal pursuits.

Firearms Safety & Fundamentals Course
This course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling, while building the confidence you need to responsibly operate a firearm.
Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible to apply for pistol permits in Connecticut, Florida, Arizona, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Additionally, by selecting the UTAH add-on option, you will qualify to apply for a Utah license, which legally allows you to carry in 30+ states — offering exceptional value and coverage from a single course.
